Our first range is made from bamboo viscose in order to meet a multitude of criteria:

• Bamboo is a manufacturing material present in large quantities on the earth, this natural fiber has significant advantages, whether for the user or for the consequences in terms of environmental respect. In fact, it is a completely biodegradable and easily renewable material. Bamboo is often found in high quality stockings for many reasons.
• Much more breathable material than the average other fiber, ideal for combating hyperhidrosis (feet that sweat excessively)
• Ideal for socks because bamboo viscose creases very little and maintains its initial shape very easily
• In addition, bamboo fiber has very interesting hypoallergenic and anti-bacterial properties for a natural material.

Scottish thread is obtained from a natural fiber which surrounds the cotton seed. In order to obtain socks made from pure cotton yarn, we select high-quality plant fibers to avoid wear and tear on the future textile. A chemical process, called mercerization, is necessary to change the raw material into scotch thread. It is nevertheless logical to ask why prefer scotch thread:

• Since spinning is difficult, Scottish thread offers unrivaled resistance
• The dye adheres perfectly to the material: no risk of losing the initial color
• A soft and pleasant material which prevents friction and therefore makes it an anti-blister product.
• The very reduced thickness of the yarn allows optimal ventilation of your feet to avoid bad odors
• Long wool socks are also available in the Mariner range.

Wool has the property of preventing the proliferation of micro-organisms which are the cause of bad odors in the feet thanks to the absorbent ability of the wool fiber. In addition, wool is the most effective material to combat cold weather and to absorb water and humidity. For very hot weather, this material can also be adopted because it retains the humidity necessary to provide your feet with all the freshness they need.

• There is also, in our range, a non-compressive sock ideal for diabetics or people with sensitive lower limbs. Our long non-compressing sock is mainly made from a cotton alloy.
