TENCEL® is the registered name for Lyocell fiber, produced from the pulp of trees that grow in sustainably managed and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certified plantations. The tree pulp is dissolved in a natural, non-toxic solvent. This solution is then extruded through small holes to produce the fiber. The solvent is recovered and recycled in a closed circuit, which saves energy and water: more than 99% of this solvent is thus recovered and reused. Manufacturing Lyocell fiber and TENCEL® fabrics does not require harmful chemicals (like formaldehyde) sometimes used to produce this type of fabric. Tencel is a natural fiber whose source is wood cellulose (eucalyptus, pine, beech for example).

It is also light, hygienic, absorbent and hypoallergenic.

Elastane provides comfort and elasticity.
